io9 has your first look at just one of several new Lego reveals on the show floor at San Diego Comic-Con.It’s San Diego Comic-Con preview night, and that means the convention show floor is ready to burst open to guests looking for a sneak preview at what’s to come across the next four days of SDCC mayhem. That includes Lego’s own appearance on the show floor this year with first looks at tons of new sets coming later this year… but before anyone else gets a look, io9 has a sneak peek at just one of the sets that you’ll be able to see in-person at SDCC.
io9 can exclusively reveal one of the Lego Minecraft sets that will be on display for the first time at Lego’s booth at Comic-Con this year: Baby Pig’s Birthday Celebration. Clocking in at at 351 pieces, the $20 set is a quick and easy way to build up a series of articulated, iconic Minecraft mobs for your collection. Including a Creeper (complete with an opening head), a baby zombie, and baby animals in the form of a fox, cat, llama, and pig, the set also includes a teeny-tiny birthday hat to put on the pig, as well as a cake, for some suitably festive celebrations. Check out a few more images below.
The Lego Minecraft Baby Pig’s Birthday Celebration set is set to release on October 1. Stay tuned to io9 throughout SDCC 2024 for more looks at upcoming toys and merch on the show floor!
